Update: I just had Cooling Specialist change out my 27 year old AC unit. They were on time and completed the job in 3 hours! They changed out my 3.5 ton unit with a 4 ton unit and furnace. They cleaned up after themselves. I shopped around and Cooling Specialist was by far the best deal, beating everyone by several thousands of dollars! I highly recommend Cooling Specialist for your AC servicing needs. The Technician was on time and very knowledgeable, he explains everything I needed to know about my (3) AC units. I had all (3) capacitors changed on my AC units and at a very good price. I did call around to get (3) prices. Cooling Specialist, I would highly recommend to my family & friends! My AC units are old, but they didn’t try selling me new units, instead made them more reliable by changing the capacitors. When I do need to replace my AC units I will definitely call Cooling Specialist because they were honest with me!

Excellent experience with The Cooling Specialists. I called around 11:30 PM after our AC went out, and their dispatch team was incredibly responsive. They had Tyler out first thing the next morning to diagnose the issue. When it appeared to be an electrical problem, they didn't charge me for the inspection and even recommended a trusted electrician. After the electrical issue was resolved and the system still wasn't cooling properly, I reached back out and Tyler was back at our house first thing the next morning. He quickly identified a failed capacitor, replaced it, verified the electrical side of the system, tested everything, and had us back up and running in no time. Great communication, honest service, fast response times, and fair pricing. Highly recommend Tyler and The Cooling Specialists.

If I could, I'd give them 10 stars. So I called about 9 different places including them, and got bids from 6 of them. It is quite crazy the amount of swing prices in the valley. Dear shoppers of minisplits and hvac, be careful, get multiple bids and cross reference them and check against the actual price of the unit. Yes, you can now get the price estimates if you do your detailed search on what the contractor buys the unit for. Cooling specialists are amazing, with good attitude and a professional team. Their bid wasn't the cheapest and wasn't the most expensive either. I chose them because they have a good track record, been in business for a while, reasonable bid and great communication. I worked with Greg then Walied for initial project assessment, and then Tyler and his brother came to do the installation wtih Greg doing the oversight. Very clean and neat install. During the install any issues that came up (and there are always surprises in every such custom install), they handled it very well, and the finished install looks and works great. Thank you.
